Oluwasegun brings more than a decade of litigation and dispute resolution experience to his practice. His background includes family and civil disputes, courtroom advocacy, negotiation and mediation.
Admitted to practise in both Ontario and Nigeria, he brings a perspective shaped by working across legal systems. His wider experience includes criminal defence, civil litigation, employment disputes and contractual matters.
From 2014 to 2024, he worked as a Senior Associate at Alliance Law Firm in Lagos. His work included marriage dissolution and property disputes, preparing court documents, representing clients in negotiations and hearings, and carrying files from intake to resolution.

In Ontario, Oluwasegun articled with Topmarke Attorneys in North York before becoming an Associate Lawyer in March 2026. His work has included family and civil litigation, pleadings, motions, affidavits, settlement documents and legal research, as well as examinations-in-chief and cross-examinations.
He approaches sensitive matters with clear communication, careful attention to evidence and practical case preparation. He works to understand the client’s circumstances, explain the issues and prepare for the decisions ahead.
A practice focused on people.
Oluwasegun’s practice areas are family law, child protection and criminal law. His practice locations are Markham, Toronto and Oshawa.
His background in client interviews, file management and dispute resolution informs an approach that combines empathy with preparation and advocacy.
Beyond the file.
Oluwasegun values continued learning and connections within the profession and the wider community. Outside his casework, he enjoys thoughtful discussion and mentoring people at the start of their careers, and takes an interest in initiatives that improve access to justice and public understanding of the law.
