The Network
behind HCLS.
HCLS Members bring their own experience and perspective to human areas of law such as family and child protection. They practice independently, with access to a Platform and shared resources that make the HCLS experience.
What that means for you
Your lawyer is your dedicated advocate and is responsible for the legal services they provide. You agree on the work and fees together.
HCLS’s Ottawa and Toronto offices, as well as all of the Network Members’ own practices, offer flexible ways to connect with your lawyer, including remote appointments and in-person meetings.
Find your advocate
Members of the HCLS Network are independent contractors, not employees, associates or agents of HCLS. They practice independently through the HCLS Platform and are not part of an association for the joint practice of law. Each lawyer is responsible for their own work, business activities and any non-licensees they engage.
