Kim is an accomplished legal professional with a strong background in court administration, legal research, and client support. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a Minor in Civil Law (Summa Cum Laude), Kim has built a career rooted in precision, discretion, and service excellence. Aspiring lawyer, Kim is now furthering her legal career by pursuing the Programme de droit canadien (PDC) at the University of Ottawa. 

Her professional experience spans both federal tribunals and private practice. At the Copyright Board of Canada and the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, she developed expertise in case management, drafting legal documents and conducting hearings, and coordinating with legal professionals and the public. She also played a leadership role in mentoring staff, streamlining operational processes, and contributing to inclusive workplace initiatives. Earlier in her career, Kim worked as a legal assistant in a notarial office, specializing in estates, family matters and property transactions, where she handled client intake, calendars, and managed sensitive client information.

Fluent in both English and French, Kim brings strong communication skills, an ability to manage complex caseloads, and a proven record of balancing empathy with efficiency. These strengths translate seamlessly into family law, where supporting clients through sensitive legal matters requires both precision and compassion.

Outside of her studies, Kim is an animal lover, spinning enthusiast and avid reader.
