Our Student Program: A Blend of Learning and Working

Through our student program, you will have the opportunity to:

Work Directly with Experienced Lawyers: Receive tasks and guidance from seasoned attorneys who will mentor you through legal processes.

Participate in Real Client Projects: Assist in the preparation of legal documents such as Separation Agreements, Pleadings, and more, with the assurance that all your work is reviewed by a practicing lawyer.

Earn While You Learn: School's expensive - we get it. We don't expect students to be doing pro bono work at this stage in their careers. Gain professional experience and be compensated for your contributions.

What We Are Looking For

Dedicated Students: Specifically designed for students completing a law degree (J.D., LL.B., LL.L.), we welcome candidates who have completed at least 1 full year of law school or have previous work experience in the field.

Attention to Detail: Legal work requires precision and thoroughness. We seek individuals who can carefully follow instructions and deliver quality work.

Ethics & Professionalism: As you will be handling real client needs, you will be required to adhere to the Law Society's professional and ethical standards.

Student Legal Insights Program (SLIP)

What is it?

HCLS is committed to fostering the professional development of future legal professionals. To support this mission, HCLS has initiated a program allowing law students to share their high-quality academic work on our platform.

How to apply?

This program is open to all law students who have written papers that received a grade in the "A" range (A-, A, A+) in the last two years. The subject of the paper must be relevant to current legal topics and preferably align with the areas of law HCLS practices.
